Thank you for checking out my website! Here you will find some of my best writing samples, multimedia projects, photos and information about my experiences in the sports journalism industry.
I'm a May 2012 graduate of Penn State University where I earned degrees in print journalism, with an emphasis in sports writing and reporting, and Secondary Education English/Communications. I'm currently working as a Penn State football and sports enterprise reporter with The Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa.
My journalism career has taken me all over the Unites States and across several continents where I've covered Penn State football, the 2012 Final Four, the Milwaukee Brewers, the state of the NBA in South Africa and the 2012 Olympic Games!
I've covered some of the biggest stories at Penn State in the past year and did so as a freelancer for USA Today, a football reporter for The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and as a correspondent with The Reading Eagle. There were plenty of other stops along the way as my work ranges from newspaper and website coverage of collegiate and professional sports, to court hearings, enterprise stories and multimedia work.
